NVIDIA strategy to target middle to lower market is quite appropriate, considering that this segment is the largest market for computer users. Replacing G94/G92 graphics chip that has long relied upon, NVIDIA released today with some GT240/GT220 series of new technologies.
We tried one sample of Sparkle which uses chips with GDDR5 GT 240.

GDDR5 on graphics card has a total capacity of 512 MB.

Sparkle uses the standard specifications of the NVIDIA reference core clock of 550 MHz and 1700 MHz memory (3400 Mhz) GDDR5. The use of GDDR5 memory provides enough distance higher performance than the GDDR3 memory. Although memory is used only 512 MB, the memory of this size can be used more effectively when compared with the use of 1GB of memory. Given the power of this graphics card has not too large, then the 512MB memory usage should have been more than enough.

Variety of output connectors for display on this product fairly complete.

Sales package that included the very minimalist Sparkle. In the small white box packaging graphics cards have only a graphics card, drivers, quick start guide, and a discount coupon game The Sims 3. Simple sales package may be intended to put pressure on selling prices of these entry-level products.

Although relatively less powerful than the GeForce series of chips higher class, GT chips on the graphics card 240 is still quite comfortable to play new games with detail settings and resolution images are not too high.

Varian conclusion GeForce GT 240 with GDDR5 which you consider appropriate.
