After great success with the Bourne Saga, Matt Damon back in action in his latest action film, the Green Zone. Again, in collaboration with director Damon, who led the last two Bourne films, Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum, Paul Greengrass. Not only that, Greengrass was bringing some previous crew to work on this project.
The film is adapted nonfiction book written by a reporter for the Washington Post, Rajiv Chandrasekaran, titled Imperial Life in the Emerald City. This book was written while he served Chandrasekaran in Baghdad before the American invasion of Iraq. So, you could say this movie more or less true story raised happened in Baghdad at that time.

Green Zone a story the American occupation troops in Baghdad during the invasion of Iraq to overthrow Saddam Hussein's regime. Captain Roy Miller (Matt Damon) got the task to "cleanse" the area that are believed to hiding places Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD). Together with his team, he combed every place but did not find anything. He tried to ask him about it but he was told to follow the instructions already given. The answer is actually made Miller increasingly suspicious that something is covered.

Martin Brown (Brendan Gleeson), a CIA agent, also felt the same irregularities. He worked with Miller to find out the truth about the existence of WMD in Baghdad. Like a spring in the desert, a local resident named Freddy (Khalid Abdalla) told Miller that he had just seen a group of followers of Saddam Hussein met in a house. Miller and his team raided the place but failed to arrest Al-Rawi (Yigal Naor), the leader of the association which is one of the most wanted fugitive America.

Miller also met with Lawrie Dayne (Amy Ryan), Wall Street Journal reporter who was also investigating the truth of the existence of WMD. From the writings of Dayne American occupation in Iraq, Miller knows everything, including the meeting ever took place between Clark Poundstone (Greg Kinnear) with Al Rawi before the American invasion of Iraq.
Step by step, Miller gathered all the evidence and clues that will lead him to a reality that made him have to determine attitude.
Bourne in Iraq

Success Damon plays Jason Bourne makes it difficult to separate the character from him. Moreover, farmers this film are the same people who worked on the Bourne movies. Be the first we saw Jason Bourne action in Iraq in the United States military uniforms.

One question that arises in my mind when following this film: why take the title of the Green Zone? First time seeing this movie posters and read the title, I think this film will raise the green zone, the safest area in Baghdad that the Iraqi central government since the days of Saddam Hussein's regime and then used as a temporary government headquarters in Baghdad during the American invasion in 2003 . In fact, precisely this region have a very small portion, even just a background of one scene in this movie. Cultivation of this movie plot is very weak and unfocused, making me a little confused what to told Greengrass. In addition, the ending of this movie was very shallow and not "bite". I am a bit amused by-again-action again at the end of Miller's heroic story. But still it is a pity because the film is filled with quality actors and crew, an experienced professional crew worked on blockbuster films, like Hurt locker, United 93, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Stardust, Conspiracy Theory, and others - other.

However, for you lovers of action movies, the Green Zone can be one of the entertainment on weekends. In fact, the war scenes in this film reminds me of the famous game Counter Strike. So, forget the election and the outcome of the plot of this movie. Please sit down and enjoy the tension of war has to offer.
